트래블룰(travel rule)이란 자금세탁 방지를 위해 가상자산 전송 시 송수신자 정보를 모두 수집해야 하는 의무를 가상자산사업자(VASP: Virtual Asset Service Provider)에 부과한 규제를 말한다.
국제자금세탁방지기구(FATF: Financial Action Task Force)는 2019년 트래블룰 대상에 가상자산을 추가했으며,
국내에서는 특정정보금융정보법에 따라 2022년 3월 25일부터 가상자산거래소에 가상자산 송수신인의 기록을 의무화했다.
